At Supporting you Disability Services we will work with you and your family to guide, link, and build your capacity to understand and navigate the NDIS. We will assist you with plan implementation, goal setting, exploring housing options, individualised supports that meet your needs, plan review process and help you to build your capacity to achieve your NDIS goals.
Meet The Team
Kylee Chate
Kylee began her career in disabilities services in 2013. Kylee started out as a support worker before finding her feet as a case manager prior to the NDIS roll out in 2016 and has been providing support coordination to participants and their families ever since.
Prior to this Kylee was a student services officer in the education department.
Kylee found herself in the disability sector through her own research to better understand the needs of her own son, who has Autism, major depressive disorder, ADD and psychosocial diagnoses. Kylee has completed Cert IV in Drug and Alcohol and Mental health and Community Services and completed numerous Support Coordination training workshops with “The growing space” and “DSC” and recently completed Allied Behaviour Analysis Positive practices in behavioural support. Kylee has also completed several Tony Attwood training sessions.
Jessica Goodear
Jessica is currently undergoing her support coordination training. She has recently completed DSC Intensive supporting coordination training and Growing Space Support Coordination training along with plan review training for NDIS and Mental health first aid.
Jessica is the backbone to our office. While Jess is relatively new to NDIS, Jessica is not new to disability sector, Jessica started out her career in the disability sector as a support worker.
Jessica comes from disability background and health sector. Jessica will assist Kylee with her participants and workload until Jess feels comfortable to take on her own Support coordination case load.
Kathy Bushell
Kathy’s role as a support coordinator is to assist individuals & their families to build their capacity, link in with appropriate supports and work towards achieving their NDIS Goals.
Kathy has worked within the disability sector since 2015, and prior to that date in Education, working with children who have special needs and experience daily challenges.
Kathy has completed Cert 111 in Teachers Aide Special, Intensive Support Coordination training with DSC & The Growing Space, First Aide & Mental Health First Aide, National Loss & Grief (NALAG) training, attended workshops hosted by Sue Larkey & Tony Attwood, and continues to upskill.
Kathy has her own lived experiences with family members that face challenges in their day-to-day life, by supporting them in their journey.
Kathy has been involved in Community Groups in her local area and organising community events, most recently, Mount George Billy Cart Festival.
Kathy value’s an individual’s right to create their own path and live life their way.
Kathy’s own personal moto is, “Every day is a new day”.
